Champion’s Wood Fern is an evergreen fern that grows in upright clumps and have red-brown scales covering the stipe and rachis.  The arching bipinnate fronds are a glossy dark green year-round.  Thrives in rich, moist soils with  bright shade.  Tolerates drought once established.
