Legend of the Small Fothergilla is a dwarf deciduous shrub with profuse blooms and brilliant fall display. The leathery blue green foliage turn various shades of yellow, orange, and red-purple in fall. The bottlebrush-like spikes densely packed with fragrant white flowers bloom through spring. Blooms best in rich, moist well-drained acidic soils. Legend of the small is very shade tolerant and deer resistant.
