Cornelian Cherry Dogwood is a small deciduous tree known for its stunning golden-yellow flowers that bloom in early spring, followed by bright red fruits in the summer. The slender glossy foliage has unreliable fall color. Grows best in moist, rich well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Prone to leaf scorching or spots in full sun. Remove suckers to prevent spread. Has few problems unless stressed. Stressed Dogwoods are susceptible to leaf spot, crown canker, root rot, powdery mildew, blight, and anthracnose. Mulching will help keep roots cool in summer.
