Lipan Crape Myrtle is an upright deciduous shrub with an upright spreading crown and smooth exfoliating bark. Its glossy green foliage turns orange and red with fall. Its large frilly lavender-pink panicles bloom on new wood all through summer. Best color in full sun and rich well-drained soil. Lipan has excellent disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water Regularly. Prune back in spring before bloom to promote flowers. It can be susceptible to leaf spot. Watch for aphids and scale.
