Herbert Azalea is a dwarf evergreen shrub with a mounding habit and narrow rich green foliage. Dense blooms of lightly frilled bright reddish-purple flowers with dark purple specks coat the branches in mid spring. Best grown in part sun and rich, moist, well-drained acidic soils.
