Orange Rocket Barberry is a narrow upright branching deciduous shrub valued for its vibrant foliage that grows full to the ground. The small leaves emerge in spring as a coral orange and matures to medium green before turning shades of purple for fall. Unnoticeable tiny yellow flowers bloom in spring that gives way to small amounts of fruit. Best color in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought and deer resistant. Asexual propagation is prohibited. Orange Rocket is resistant to rust.
