Bordeaux Dwarf Yaupon Holly is a dense evergreen shrub with a low rounded habit. Its small foliage emerge burgundy and mature to a dark gray green before returning to a rich burgundy in winter. The tiny fragrant white spring flowers may give way to fruits if pollinated. Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Bordeaux has high salt tolerance and can tolerate wet soils making it suitable for coastal plantings.
