Allium 'Medusa' is a perennial plant known for its distinctive, snake-like foliage that twists and turns, hence the name 'Medusa'. In late summer to early fall, it produces round clusters of light purple flowers that sit atop slender, upright stems. These blooms can add a pop of color to your garden and are also attractive to butterflies and bees.
This plant prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It's also drought-tolerant, making it a good choice for gardens in drier climates. One of the great things about Allium 'Medusa' is that it's resistant to deer and rabbits, making it a great addition to a wildlife-friendly garden.
Allium 'Medusa' can grow up to 1-2 feet tall and wide, so it's a good idea to plant it in the front or middle of a border where its unique foliage and beautiful blooms can be easily seen.
