ShrubBlack Dragon Japanese Cedar is a slow-growing conifer shrub with an irregular pyramidal habit.  The dense soft needles emerge light green and mature to deep black-green in summer.  Prefers full sun and slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Tolerates light shade. Do not let soils dry out.  Leaf blight and leaf spot can be occasional problems.
