Paperbush Plant is a well-branched winter-blooming deciduous shrub with a rounded habit. Clusters of strongly fragrant, small trumpet-like creamy flowers bloom on its bare cinnamon-brown branches in winter to spring before the foliage emerges. Its slender blue-green foliage turns yellow in fall. Blooms best in part shade and moist well-drained soils. Intolerant of drought.
