Gatsby Gal Oakleaf Hydrangea is a dense mounding deciduous shrub with large oak like foliage that turns wine-red in fall. The long conical panicles are packed with large white flowers that transition to soft pink regardless of the PH of the soil. Best bloom in part sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter. If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew. Aphids are occasional problems.
