Beardtongue is a clumping native herbaceous perennial with rigid upright stems and green lance-shaped foliage. Loose raceme of small tubular white flowers bloom mid spring to early summer. Grows best in partial sun and dry to medium well-drained soil. Drought and heat tolerant.
