The Commemoration® Sugar Maple is a beautiful cultivar of the Sugar Maple tree (Acer saccharum) that is known for its exceptional fall foliage colors. This variety is specifically bred for its vibrant and long-lasting autumn display, making it a wonderful choice for adding beauty to landscapes and gardens.

Here are some care tips for the Commemoration® Sugar Maple:

  1. Location: Choose a spot that provides full sun to partial shade. Sugar Maples generally prefer full sun, but they can tolerate some shade. Ensure the location has enough space for the tree to grow to its full size, as it can reach a height of 50-75 feet.

  2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during the tree's establishment period. Once established, it can tolerate some drought, but regular watering during dry periods is still recommended. Water deeply and thoroughly, allowing the water to penetrate the root zone.
