Variegated Jacob's Ladder is a compact shade loving perennial with variegated compound foliage that has irregular creamy to gold margins. Cutting back after flowering can encourage an additional late summer bloom.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Intolerant of hot and humid summers. Leaf spot and powdery mildew can be an issue in humid climates. After flowering, or if foliage declines, cut back to basal foliage to encourage growth and potential new bloom. Leaf tips will brown if soil dries out, and may scorch in too much sun. Watch for slugs.
