Satomi Dogwood is a low branching, small deciduous tree with a horizontal branching and dark green that turns red in fall. Heavy blooms with flower brackets that open white and transition to rich rosy pink give the illusion of abundant 4” flowers in mid spring. Fruits resembling strawberry follow the flowers in summer. Prefers part sun and slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil.
Syn. with Cornus kousa 'Miss Satomi' and 'Rosabella'.
