Peggy Martin Rose is a compact climbing deciduous shrub with thornless stems but still sparse thorns on the dark green foliage's backs. The fragrant deep pink double flowers fade to soft pink with age and bloom heavily in clusters in late spring and again in fall. Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.
