Hayscented Fern is a deciduous fern native to the eastern states with lacy erect to arching light green fronds that turn yellow in fall. The fronds are aromatic and give off a freshly-cut grass scent when brushed or damaged. Thrives in rich, moist, acidic soils with some shade. Some drought tolerance once established.
*Deciduous ferns may still be dormant until late spring. This will appear that we've delivered a pot full of dirt however a healthy robust fern is awaiting inside.
