Gilt Edge Toad Lily is a shade loving herbaceous perennial that forms a loose clump of veined lily like foliage with fine gold to chartreuse green edges. Slender erect stems hosting clusters of small purple flushed star shaped flowers heavily spotted with deep purple bloom in late summer and early fall. Grows best in part shade with moist to wet well-drained and lightly acidic soils. All parts are toxic if ingested.
