Giant Lamb's Ear is a delicate fine-textured perennial grown for its soft velvety silver-grey leaves that form a mat above the ground. Tiny purple-pink terminal clusters may appear on stems in the summer, though many gardeners prefer to remove them to enhance the ground cover effect. Grows best with afternoon shade in southern climates and dry to medium well-drained soils. Giant Lamb’s Ear is drought tolerant and disease resistant.
Also sold as 'Helene von Stein'.
