Variegated Hydrangea is a compact deciduous shrub with large olive green that has fine cream margins. The large rounded mophead panicles bloom in early summer. While the larger outer petals are white regardless, the tiny inner flowers color depends on the soil PH - pink in acidic soils, and blue in alkaline soils. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
