Scotch Heather is a small evergreen shrub that has a dense low-mounding habit and ascending scale-like foliage that earn bronze to purple tones in winter. Dense one-sided raceme packed with rosy to purplish pink bell shaped flowers bloom from mid summer into fall. Best bloom in part sun and rich well-drained acidic soils. Tolerates poor soils and is drought resistant once established.
