Burkwood Viburnum is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with sprawling loose upright branching and glossy wrinkled dark green leaves that turn maroon in fall. Pink buds open to large flat clusters of creamy white flowers that bloom in mid spring and give way to sparse bright red berries that mature to black in fall. Flowers best with full sun and moist, lightly acidic well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established. Foliage is evergreen in zones 7-8 but will still earn fall color.
