Concord Barberry is a dwarf deciduous shrub with dense near-black purple foliage that emerges deep wine red, and intensifies in fall. Tiny yellow flowers contrast against the dark foliage and give way to fruits in fall. Best color in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought and deer resistant.
