Imperial Honeylocust is a compact deciduous tree with spreading branches forming a rounded canopy. Its feathery, dark green fern-like compound leaves turn bright yellow in the fall. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist, well-drained soils. Tolerates drought, flooding, urban conditions, and black walnut trees. I mperial is both seedless and thornless!
