Centennial Royal Star Magnolia is a small open-branched deciduous tree with an upright oval crown and medium green foliage that warms to yellow and bronze in fall. A prolific bloomer that forms flower buds at nearly every node, the large and highly fragrant double-petaled water lily-like flowers of clear white or the palest shade of pink bloom in late winter or early spring before the foliage emerges. Best color in full sun and moist, slightly-acidic, well-drained soil.
