Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea'

Golden Creeping Jenny is a spreading evergreen perennial that forms a trailing mat of tiny butter yellow leaves.  Small, brighter yellow cup shaped flowers bloom profusely from spring into summer.  Best color in full sun and moist well-drained soil.  'Aurea' occasionally reverts to its species green color.  Considered invasive in several states.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Susceptible to leaf spots and rust.  A very aggressive spreader, plant in contained area unless naturalization is desired.

LANDSCAPE USES: Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Rock Gardens, Groundcover, Walls and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS:  Japanese Forest Grass, Wild Bergamont, Catmint
