Brandywine Lenten Rose is a highly varied late winter-blooming evergreen perennial with glossy dark green basal foliage. The clusters of outward facing flowers can range from single to doubled with the colors solid, veined or spotted bloom from late winter to mid spring. The base color can be white, pink, red, purple, or yellow. Best bloom in dappled sun and moist well-drained soils. All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
