Gatsby Pink Oakleaf Hydrangea is a dense mounding deciduous shrub with large oak like foliage that turns mahogany-red in fall. The long conical panicles open with white flowers that quickly transition to glorious pink and bloom through summer until frost. Best bloom in part sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter. If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew. Aphids are occasional problems.
