Agastache aurantiaca 'Tango'

Tango Hummingbird Mint, also known as Agastache 'Tango', is a perennial plant that is known for its vibrant, orange-red flowers and its attractiveness to hummingbirds.

This plant typically grows to a height of 12-18 inches with a similar spread. It prefers full sun and is adaptable to a variety of soil conditions, but it thrives best in well-drained, fertile soils. Tango Hummingbird Mint is also drought-tolerant once established, making it a great choice for xeriscaping or low-water gardens.

The flowers of Tango Hummingbird Mint are orange-red and appear on tall spikes in the summer. The leaves are aromatic and have a minty fragrance when crushed.

Tango Hummingbird Mint is a low-maintenance plant that is resistant to most common garden pests and diseases. It's also a great choice for a pollinator garden, as it attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Crown and root rot may occur in poorly drained soils.  No serious pests or disease issues but watch for powdery mildew, wilt, and rust.
