Montgomery Blue Spruce is a native dwarf conifer tree with a globose habit when young that becomes a broad cone with age. and attractive silvery blue needles. The female cones emerge a surprising violet before maturing to soft brown. Prefers full sun and rich, moist well-drained acidic soils. Drought tolerant once established.
