Drupacea Japanese Plum Yew is a very slow-growing evergreen conifer shrub with erect stems forming a dense mounded habit and drooping branchlets. It’s glossy needle-like foliage emerges a bright green and matures to a dark green it holds in winter. If the edible fruits are desired, both a female plant and male pollinator are required. Prefers partial sun and rich well-drained soils. Drupacea has improved shade and heat tolerance, and easily takes pruning.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Water regularly, but allow the soil to dry slightly between watering. It can be damaged in full sun and cannot tolerate acidic soils.
