The Black Scallop Bugleweed is a perennial plant known for its large, glossy, dark purple-black leaves that almost appear black, hence the name. It also produces spikes of blue flowers in the spring, creating a beautiful contrast with the dark foliage. This plant is quite adaptable and can grow in a variety of conditions, but it prefers partial to full shade and well-drained soil.

One of the advantages of the Black Scallop Bugleweed is its fast growth rate and spreading habit, making it an excellent choice for filling in bare spots in your garden or for preventing soil erosion on slopes. MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Water regularly.  Good air circulation and drip irrigation will help prevent crown rot.
