Dolce® Spearmint Heuchera

Spearmint Heuchera is an evergreen herbaceous  perennial with a low mounding habit grown for its dramatic basal foliage and extended bloom season.  Its silvery-green lobed leaves with dark green veins is topped with airy clusters of two-toned red bell-like flowers that bloom in mid to late summer attracting  butterflies.  Blooms best in  partial sun and moist well-drained soils. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Potential issues include powdery mildew, rust, leaf spot, and frost heaving of roots if winter temperatures fluctuate widely.  Will grow slowly in heavy shade.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings,  Borders,  Woodland Gardens,  Naturalized Areas,  Native Gardens,  Rock Gardens, and Containers.
