Early Sunrise Giant Tickseed is a mounding native perennial with narrow deep green foliage that is pinnate at the top and linear at the base. Semi-double daisy-like yellow flowers with darker yellow centers bloom from late spring into summer. Prompt deadheading can prevent spread and encourage additional bloom in fall. Prefers full sun and dry to medium well-drained soil. Drought, humidity, and road salt tolerance. Tolerates afternoon shade in hot summer climates.
