Viburnum opulus 'Roseum'

Eastern Snowball is a large rounded multi-stemmed deciduous  shrub with serrated maple-like bright green foliage that turns orange-red or red-purple in fall. Large ball-like clusters of creamy white flowers bloom in spring earn and rosy pink tones as they fade.  Flowers best in evenly moist well-drained soils. 

Syn. with Viburnum opulus 'Sterile'.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance.  Prune immediately as needed after flowering.  Watch for aphids.  Some susceptibility to stem blight, leaf spot, and powdery mildew.
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings,  Borders,  Naturalized Areas,  Woodland Gardens,  Wildlife Gardens,  Privacy Screen, Hedges, Foundation Plantings, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS:  Hydrangea,  Sweetspire,  Magnolia
