Baby Joe Coastal Plain Joe Pye Weed is a compact upright native perennial with coarsely-toothed lance-shaped foliage and un-branching purple spotted stems. Freely flowering clusters of grayed purple flowers bloom in flat clusters atop of stems from late summer into fall and turn buff as they mature. Blooms best in full sun and moist well-drained soil. Some drought tolerance and pest resistance.
