Wide Brim Hosta is a compact shade-loving herbaceous perennial primarily grown for its foliage. The large rugose heart-shaped basal leaves are dark green with a blue tint and a wide irregular cream to white margin. Small bell-like light lavender flowers raise up in terminals from the rootstalk above the mound in mid to late summer attracting butterflies and pollinators. Best color in partial sun and moist well-drained soils.
