Rhapsody in Pink Crape Myrtle is a compact reblooming deciduous shrub with a multi-stemmed habit and upright spreading branches. The foliage emerges with a purple tint before shifting toward green in summer. Its large soft pink panicles bloom continuously through summer as new buds form on the old panicles. Best color in full sun and rich well-drained soil. Rhapsody In Pink has excellent powdery mildew resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water Regularly. Prune back in spring before bloom to promote flowers. It can be susceptible to leaf spot and powdery mildew. Watch for aphids and scale.
